This is where we connect and get to know each other. We’ll talk through your ideas, goals, and what you’re hoping your images will capture. It’s a space to ask questions, share inspiration, and begin shaping the vision for your shoot.

Creative Call
Once we decide to move forward, we dive deeper into the creative direction. We’ll refine locations, mood, styling, and the overall feeling we want the images to carry so everything feels intentional before shoot day.

Picture time
On the day of the shoot, my role is to guide the experience so you can focus on being present. I’ll provide direction while allowing moments to unfold naturally, creating imagery that feels authentic and aligned with your vision.

Delivering photos
After the shoot, your images are carefully curated and edited. You’ll receive previews along the way, followed by a final gallery that captures the story we set out to tell.

Instead of capturing everything at once, we create in phases for each quarter. Each session builds on the last, allowing space for movement, growth, and refinement but with clear intention on the direction.

Your images are delivered consistently after each shoot, giving you content that feels aligned and ready to use as your brand evolves. Over time, this creates a visual identity that feels intentional, recognizable, and fully your own.

What can I expect during the shoot?
My approach focuses on movement and real moments rather than stiff posing. I will guide you throughout the session so you can relax and simply be present in the experience.
What should I wear?
We’ll discuss wardrobe during your creative call. If you’re unsure, I’m happy to build a moodboard with styling recommendations and budget-friendly links.
How many photos will I receive?
The number of images delivered depends on your package. If you are hoping for a specific amount, we can discuss this during our initial call.
Are you available outside of San Diego?
Yes. I am open to travel and pricing will be adjusted to accommodate travel costs.
Do you do weddings?
I do not book full weddings, however I do accept elopements. I’m also happy to share recommendations for trusted wedding photographers if you’re looking for full-day coverage.
When will I receive my photos?
Your full gallery will be delivered within two weeks of your shoot date. A small preview will be sent within 48 hours so you have a few images to enjoy right away.
What do built over time shoots actually look like?
Built over time is designed to work with your brand’s needs and rhythm. This can look like monthly, bi-monthly or quarterly sessions depending on your brand's needs. Each shoot planned intentionally. The goal is to create consistency and tone, not just content.
What is the difference between a single session vs multiple sessions?
A single session focuses on that single project. Built over time allows us to develop and plan your visual identity creating something more cohesive, recognizable, and aligned with where your brand is going.
Is there a minimum commitment?
Built over time is most effective when there’s space and time to build, so I typically take on clients who are ready to commit to a few months at a time. This allows the work to fully develop rather than feeling rushed.
